In this entertaining and informative part-reality, part fly-on-the-wall documentary series, a diverse group come together with the goal of ‘fixing’ themselves, embarking on an intense detox programme amidst the tropical paradise of Thailand’s Koh Phangan. Across one month, this somewhat sceptical band of participants, will be given the tools to transform their minds and bodies, guided by health experts and Koh Phangan’s healers and gurus. Alongside a housewife, a cab driver and a police officer, the group also includes Nick Knowles, presenter of BBC One’s hugely successful DIY SOS, and two of his DIY SOS co-stars.
