Hosted by Australian motorsport legend Sandy Bowman. In 2013 Sandy Bowman and his navigator Daniel Hardman destroyed their off-road race car in a massive crash. They have set out to build a new one, which is a huge undertaking, so to stay entertained Sandy and Daniel decided to compete in other forms of racing whilst the new car is being developed. Every episode Sandy and Daniel enter different events and wholeheartedly get into the spirit of that form of racing. Their highly competitive nature and “boyish” attitude gets them in all matter of strife and often they are the highlight of the event for both spectators and competitors alike. The show is produced to an extremely neat and original format proving to be entertaining to a wide variety of people, not just motorsport enthusiasts, as Aussie Racer searches the globe to feed the need to race.
